Starting Pay: $ 17.50/ hour

The Line Operator is responsible for physically operating an extrusion line in a way that ensures all products are produced free from cosmetic and physical defects and are within manufacturing tolerances. The Line Operator is responsible for the quality of the product run and adjusts and documents operating conditions to produce the highest attainable quality of pipe in a safe and efficient manner.
Schedule:
*Must be available to work the full training schedule for a duration of 3 weeks.
Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:15PM
Work Schedule: Day Shift: 7:00AM - 7:15PM
Bi-weekly 2-2-3 schedule-
Week 1: Work Monday–Tuesday, off Wednesday–Thursday, work Friday–Sunday
Week 2: Off Monday–Tuesday, work Wednesday–Thursday, off Friday–Sunday
(Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend!!!)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform checks of equipment, materials, and product; monitor extruders.
Adjust the extruder, die, water, and vacuum to maintain product quality.
Ensure the pipe print line is applied according to the Quality Manual.
Ensure product dimensions, tolerances, and appearance meet quality standards and inform the Supervisor or Lead of any changes.
Perform SDR and size changes, setup, and changeover activities.
Document product dimensions accurately.
Correct output, quality, speed, and tooling changes as needed.
Coordinate changes with other extrusion line operators.
Report unsafe or broken equipment.
Participate in training, safety, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
High School diploma preferred.
Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills
At least 1 year of equipment or machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
Ability to follow work instructions and use basic math.
Material handling and forklift experience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move around obstacles and wear required PPE.
Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb, reach, squat, and bend.
Ability to work in environments with temperature variation and noise.

Our Offer:
The compensation for this position is typically start at $17.50/Hour.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
